Aha. So my beats per minute weren't wildly high, after all. I think I just like to create things to worry about. I should still drink less coffee, I suspect.

it really would not surprise me if you suffered from hypertension. let's face facts - you're usually wound up pretty tight.

you can get an automatic blood pressure cuff for about $100 i think. if you like, you could borrow mine for awhile. it'll also tell you your pulse. chart your BP and pulse daily for awhile, and let's see what you get. present this info to your doctor as well.

My blood pressure is actually spot on (110/70 - and it's been the same for my whole life), so I wouldn't expect hypertension to be the issue. Mostly, I think anxiety is a whole issue in itself. I think I should take longer deeper breaths. I'll try that and reducing coffee and see if it helps.

my grandmother was just in the hospital *she's in her 80's* last week because she was having that problem so i'm checking her every other hour a perfectly healthy number is 80 i check the young hockey boys in at 70-80 when i'm at work
if yours is telling you over 100 that's your bottom number right so if it is concerning you maybe you should get it checked because from 70 to 100 that seems a bit of a jummp
just thought i would add that don't get yourself upset by what i'm saying my grandmother is quite old but very very healthy normally she was told to cut her coffee
