heyy!

i like this article a lot too. i mean, what you're saying is right in many ways, driving is the more enjoyable route for people who want to see the country. it ties in with your communication one too. you can get a lot closer with a person if you're forced to spend countless hours in a car with them.

you also have to take into accout the speed of arrival. if someone wants to get somewhere fast, of course they'll pick a plane. it gets you where you want in a matter of hours, where driving can sometimes take days. and yes, airports are heavy on security, but it is all bearable and not too hectic. i recently went on a plane and got thru all the security measures in about 30 minutes, and if you follow the believed rules of the airport and arrive at least 2 hours before hand, you're all set.

but i do have to agree with you on this. cars would be the safest bet. planes have crashed and killed hundreds of people, cars also crash, but i think there is less of a risk involved in that ( ... )

Thanks Jill!

Yea, I got the idea from driving to Minnesota these past weeks. (30 hrs there, 26 hrs back home again)

It was sometimes painful, but I guess it was just nice to not have to worry about how much you have to carry, or what you look like or stuff like that.

We got there when we wanted, and we were all set!

Thanks for your comments, I always love hearing what you have to say on the matter! =)

exellent article, though rather short and at times rather reduendent.
in addition, public transportatin, ie airplanes, is bette for the enviroment--its ironic that you took the position you did when you are so outspokenly liberal.

so anyways, its car travel that destroys the ozone layer and enhances the greenhouse effect and inessence, kills the world.

public transportaion is safer and its a beautiful view and its better for the enviroment
but whateves
loveyou<3
