Who: John & Sherlock
When: Nearly two weeks after the second Neo-Ripper victim was found a new, separate case crops up while they wait to catch the Neo-Ripper in the act of trying to recreate the third and fourth victims.
It had been over a week since he and Sherlock had become lovers and the pace of the relationship had not stalled. If anything, it seemed to increase. There was already the relationship they had as friends and partners and now lovers. Mary had not called him and John had not contacted her, accepting their relationship was over and more or less accepting... whatever it was he now had with Sherlock. They continued on mostly as they always had. The only differences were the added [mutual] casual touching and shagging.
John had never thought of Sherlock as a sexual being upon first meeting him; sensual, yes, but not sexual. And certainly not insatiable. But then, John had been wrong about plenty of things before. This was just one more. Sherlock would not demand sex from John as much as let him know that's what he wanted to do and John should come upstairs with him. John, who had never really had a regular flow of sex without several days in-between encounters, was not about to say 'no' to such an arrangement. Not after realising that he found sex with Sherlock to be quite enjoyable.
He did begin to notice a pattern, however: a shag was a regular occurrence every two days or so and on the days when Sherlock was having a particularly difficult time - "a four patch problem" - it was nearly constant. All day. Luckily for John those days had been his days off. He did vaguely wonder if Sherlock's previous partners had ever experienced this...
At the present, he was in his office at the clinic, about to go on his lunch break, and was scrolling through the major headlines of the day on his computer. Things had been relatively slow today so far.
