Ow, my heart. I can't belive I almost missed this.

Even though Sylvia didn't get any development in the comic, I think you've captured exactly what she would've been like. Her proto-Rorschach traits are spot-on. And poor Hollis, he's a such a boy scout.

He almost winced as she lit one from her own and handed it to him in trade, wondering if he was now technically or only morally guilty of soliciting.

Oh Hollis.

Thanks! I think I like the first gen characters so much just because there's so much wiggle room in writing them. Seemed to me that Hollis and Sylvia were two people who lied to themselves about their place in the world in exactly the ways that would disintegrate when in contact with each other. Plus, ass-kicking Rorschach-Mom!
