let's give this a whirl
i got a couple of rolls of film back from the developers, and was pleased with the results, myself.
i've just recently gotten inspired to take up photography, since i've been up here in the northwest. hmm...i wonder if this could have anything to do with the fact that i'm in an absolutely beautiful part of the country.
this is at multnomah falls, about an hour's drive east of portland.
you can actually see part of the lower falls and the bridge in the upper left. we weren't able to go up, because the trails were closed with snow. too bad, but it was still a lot of fun.
this is upper and lower multnomah falls, and the bridge. so pretty.
and, for a bit of different scenery:
i pulled over halfway up to fort worth, texas, from where my parents live just outside of austin, and took this. it was just so characteristic of where i've grown up. 's nice having a reminder of home.
any comments or criticizms are welcome, i'm not terribly sensitive to critiques, so don't worry about offending. i just started this, and i'm still using a point-and-shoot, in anticipation of being able to retrieve my parent's old full-manual camera from the closet when i get to go visit them this summer. thanks.
