I totally get the wanting people thing. Now I am a stay at home mom...so I do get to interact with the little people during the day (sometimes it's great, sometimes it't even harder than seeing no one). I have had time to meet people and develop a routine, but sometimes it's still lonely. When James and I had been married about a year and a half we moved up to the DWF area so that I couold go to seminary. Unfortunately for me, we had to move about 8 months before I could start school and James was starting his firt job. I was home all day by myself and it totally sucked. (Eventually I went to work just to be around people) Meeting people that you can call friends and mean it is not as easy as it sounds. For me it was a season that ended with me going to seminary and meeting a couple that have become some of our best friends. All of this very long post to say, I feel your heart, am praying for you, and hope that God lets this be a short season that yields lasting fruit.

Oh, and I hope that your new idea/project goes well :)

I hear ya bud. I too hate being alone and it does cause my depression to spike! I hope you are able to find something to aid it all without going crazy. I bet you could move to Austin and that would solve EVERYTHING!

I hope the idea goes well for what ever it is. You are an awesome guy and can do lots of things!!

Oh, SLACKER! Get to writing, now! =) (totally ment in love!)

Pilgrimage can be lonely, and make no mistake, you are on one. Struggle forward, leaning on Light and your precious wife and the moments you steal with your friends. Praying for you.

so, i know i just posted on a recent one, but, re ideas for life: that's like a rule for these ideas. once you say them, they lose some truth in a way. it's like only once you've practiced it at least a bit and then begin to speak of it can it materialize; otherwise your words expose your lack of action so far and the idea and the seeming feasibility evaporate, just as your words when you speak. i think it has a lot to do with intention in an odd complex way.
