Oh, Mack. popelizbet August 11 2007, 20:07:48 UTC
With the assuming, hon. Maybe the Mechans would be good for you, in that respect.

Great segment, AE!

I wonder, how many of her teachers are going to remind her that she still can drop their class?

Well, to be fair, if MU is anything like an american unversity, there is not much else a teacher can do. Heck, we can't even do much against proved cheaters, so suggesting that disruptive elements drop the class, especially while it still costs them nothing to do so, is a really good idea.

Fantastic as usual. How thick-headed is that girl anyway? Her grandmother must have done some serious psychological damage. She blames herself for everything all the time doesn't she. I love the story, I just wish someone would grab Mackenzie chain her to a chair, and explain things to her. The poor girl doesn't even realize when people are trying to help her. But I guess thats what makes her so interestin huh?

I've known people like that actually. And tried the pinning them down and bludgeoning sense into them. It doesn't work well, sadly.

And this is Mack we're talking about. She'd probably just enjoy it (and explain away said enjoying it, of course)

But Amaranth may not be able to do the job bk_mak August 12 2007, 02:56:48 UTC
It looks like Mackenzie and Amaranth are the same in one very important way:  they have an extremely hard time recognizing evil in others.  They'd both treat Puddy and Barley very differently if they did.

Is this unrecognized blindness part of what brings them together?  I look forward to seeing how this develops.

Dear Mack,

You are an idiot. I'm glad you aren't giving up but that doesn't excuse you from being an idiot. Yes, Steff is a bit of an idiot too for assuming nothing can be done. Steff is also an idiot for getting you trouble in class but that isn't an excuse.

You made a mistake. Amaranth loves you. And don't minimize that like you usually do by pointing out she loves everyone. You have hurt her but no relationship is going to be 100% perfect. You will have incidents like this that hopefully won't be as bad. But don't be an idiot and assume that your relationship is probably over.

Signed,

Josh

I really wonder how long it's going to take her to pick up on Steff's gender. For that matter, she really really needs to go to her WP class
