no, I don't know why this one's smaller than the rest. I didn't scan these, shaddap. point is, we're all in agreement about Gayzymandias and the awesomeness of the Comedian and the lovely fucked-up-ness of Rorschach. sweet. I really dig Jackie Earle Haley's thoughts on his guy, for real. overanalysis FTW.
and Dreiberg's costume fetish and OG Silk Spectre's crazy-in-love thing with the Comedian, WOO.
okay, that picture..actually does a great job at giving the big couple of the movie some spark. nice. like, there's a lotta longing and flailing about between Dan and Laurie, and that's easy, but actual sexual chemistry's harder to nail and it looks like they've got it. The fact that it only happens when they're in the suits and kickin' ass notwithstanding - shit, that only makes it more appropriate.

Patrick Wilson, aka Raoul in the movie verson of Phantom of the Opera and the dude in Hard Candy, your fictionalmancrush on Dan Dreiberg is adorable and most appreciated. if the guy playing him was making fun of him all the time, it wouldn't work. Also, I cannot FUCKING WAIT to sit in the theater and just watch Rorschach's mask shift.
how do we feel about what they're doing with the Tale of the Black Freighter? I dig it quite a lot, personally. the movie's already 2 hours and 45 minutes without it, Watchmen is one long and complex monster and they had to cut SOMETHING. at least it won't be ignored completely.

also, I'm already sick of that who-watches-the-Watchmen-answer-EVERYBODY thing that everyone who writes even the tiniest little blurb about the movie is saying, and it hasn't even been done to death yet. I know it's only gonna get worse the closer to March we get, and it's pissing me off as it is. It's not fucking witty, shut UP.
