My wife reminded me today that I hadn't touched my computer for days, and that I had over a hundred unanswered emails. Being on the campaign trail while simultaneously dealing with the usual chaos in the Senate and spending time with my family has left me with little time for keeping up with my friends, so I apologize

I still feel terrible...and I meant it when I said that any work, any that can be done in another place, I will do it. Setting up meetings, planning schedules, that can all be done via the phone and the computer you know...

Pepper, it's fine. None of this was under your control, and I understand completely that you need to put your friends first. I would do exactly the same if I were in your situation.

Probably not. I live in a world where most of humanity were destroyed by machines we created, which then turned on us and nearly exterminated our entire race.

We do have politicians still, though.

I'm good at running and arguing. But I'd be a frakking terrible politician.
