First Appearance: " She's Come Undone."
Details: As one of the four Genomex researchers involved in Project Nine, the technician Dr. Beatrice Lang engineered the neural implant to place in Lexa Pierce's brain which would allow someone to remotely control her central nervous system and her actions. Years later, one of the other Project Nine doctors, Dr. John Gonsalves, re-activated the implant and sent Lexa to murder her. Dr. Lang barricaded herself into a panic room in her apartment, but Lexa blasted her way in and killed her. Dr. Lang died clutching a scrap of newspaper which implicated Dr. Gonsalves in her assassination.
