Details: Shalimar Fox's father's company, Naxcon Corporation, was once a small chemical company. With Mason Eckhart's financial backing, it grew into an advanced agricultural research corporation. In return for helping Nicholas Fox get his daughter back, Mason received unlimited access to the resources he needed to create a new mutant army. When Nicholas discovered what Mason had been up to, however, he opened the building's steam valves causing the massive explosion which toppled Naxcon into the sea.
