Comics Continuum 3/5/02 MUTANT X UPDATE
Writing on the second season of the syndicated Mutant X television series has begun. "The fans can expect to see more of the stuff they like and stuff they haven't seen before," Mutant X executive consultant Howard Chaykin told The Continuum. "The world gets bigger, the stakes are higher and the jeopardy deeper. We're going to put them through more hell in the second season."
Production for Season 2 will likely start in late May. Meanwhile, Tribune Television has released the remaining schedule for the first season of Mutant X. New episodes will include "Presumed Guilty" the week of April 8; "Ex Marks the Spot" the week of April 15; "Nothing to Fear" the week of April 22; "Deadly Desire" the week of April 29; "Dancing on the Razor" the week of May 6; and "A Breed Apart" the week of May 13.
Between now and the last six new episodes will be repeats of "Lit Fuse," "In the Presence of Mine Enemies," "Dark Star Rising," "Double Vision" and "Whiter Shade of Pale."
