CDC United Network Appointed Agent for Fireworks International

BRUSSELS, March 26: Fireworks International, a division of the U.K.'s ContentFilm, has tapped Brussels- and New York- based television distributor CDC United Network to represent its programming line-up and catalogue in Latin America for all rights, with the exception of first window pay-TV.

The collaboration between the two companies will be launched during the upcoming MIPTV market, with CDC United Network promoting programs from Fireworks International’s catalogue that include the action series Andromeda, Mutant X and Relic Hunter, as well as the children's programs Young Dracula, Black Hole High and 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd. CDC will also actively promote all of Fireworks' mini-series and TV movies such as the acclaimed four-hour mini-series The Audrey Hepburn Story, starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Joan of Arc starring Leelee Sobieski.

"Not only does Fireworks International have a very impressive catalogue but it is also consistently bringing to the market new and exciting series and specials for a wide range of audiences and tastes,” said Sebastian Lami Dozo, the MD of CDC United Network. “They know what TV audiences worldwide want and they are delivering it. We are very proud to work with this professional team and look forward to a long lasting productive relationship.”
