CSI: Crime Scene Investigation - Deadly Intent Ubisoft reveals Deadly Intent for CSI this fall: Telltale back at the helm for new adventure in Vegas
Written by Jack Allin - July 13, 2009
CSI adventure fans may have been surprised (and disappointed) by the series' casual foray into New York recently, but Ubisoft has just revealed that the next installment will be returning to Vegas in CSI: Deadly Intent. The series is also moving back into the hands of Telltale Games, who previously developed 3 Dimensions of Murder and Hard Evidence. As before, the game's cases will be created in partnership with writers from the popular television show to ensure an authentic CSI experience. Once again challenging players to collect evidence at crime scenes, interrogate witnesses, and analyze clues with the latest forensic equipment, Deadly Intent will reflect changes to the TV cast this season, including Ray Langston (Laurence Fishburne) and Riley Adams (Lauren Lee Smith). Deadly Intent will be released on the PC and Nintendo Wii, with a target release date set for this October. The game will also be available as a handheld on the DS, with Other Ocean Interactive handling the development duties for that version.

Video CSI: Deadly Intent celeb cast talks about being in the game

The main cast of CSI will also be voicing their characters in the CSI: Deadly Intent video game. In these three videos Laurence Fishburne, Lauren Lee Smith, and George Eads who respectively play Langston, Adams and Stokes talk briefly about their roles both on screen and in a game. CSI: Deadly intent will release on October 27th for the PC, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.
Q: Are you and Riley Adams anything alike?
Lauren: I don't think there's that many similarities between Riley and I, and that's sort of exactly what I like about playing this character. She always sort of has a snide remark for everything.
Brass: You guys worked together before?
Riley: No, it's our first time. I'll be gentle.
Q: What does it take to be a good CSI agent?
Lauren: I think to be a good CSI agent, you have to have a lot of patience. Everything that we do in a matter of an hour takes maybe 15, 16, 18, three days. So I think that you have to have good patience. And you have to be able to look at things from every single perspective.
Riley: Great. Now let's check the carbon monoxide level on the detector.
Q: How was it working on a video game?
Lauren: It was great! It was. The whole experience was a lot faster, it went by faster than I thought it would. It will be cool to see how it turns out.
