Easton's talents are also behind the camera, too. He wrote, directed and edited Daedalus is Dead, a short film starring Ami Dolenz (ex-Melissa, GENERAL HOSPITAL) and Kamar de los Reyes (Antonio, ONE LIFE TO LIVE). "Kamar's my best friend," Easton reveals. "We've known each other for seven years."

In addition to starring in front of the Two cameras, Easton, who appeared last year in the Fox series VR.5, has managed to stay busy behind the scenes as well. He wrote the second episode of Two and also wrote, produced, directed and edited the short film Daedalus is Dead, which was recently accepted at the British Short Film Festival.

Michael Easton (Speaker) I wanted to be a filmmaker. Writing and directing was my passion. When you go to film school, they make you take everything. I could walk away from acting, if it was the right situation. My goal is to some day make my own film.

From there, Easton tried his hand at an assortment of jobs. He wrote and directed a film short called Daedalus is Dead, penned a volume of poetry entitled Eighteen Straight Whiskeys and paid the rent with a variety of acting stints ranging from Stephen Cannell's syndicated series Two and the acclaimed but short-lived drama 413 Hope St. to the independent films Cold Fire and Shadow of a Stranger.
