GRAFTON, Mass. - An independent production company is attempting to keep a low profile in Grafton as it shoots a modern day adaptation of "Little Women" in a historic home. The film, "Orchard House," stars Julie Berman ("General Hospital"), Kaitlin Doubleday ("Waiting," "Accepted"), Melissa Farman ("Lost," "Temple Grandin"), Molly Kunz ("Battleground"), Charlie Hofheimer ("Mad Men," "Black Hawk Down"), Justin Brueining ("All My Children," "Ringer"), Mark Famiglietti ("Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines") and John Shea ("Gossip Girl," "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman").
'Orchard House' Wraps Scenes On Grafton's North Street

GRAFTON, Mass. - For two weeks, 35 North St. was the Grafton address that could not be named - it had morphed from historic home to "Orchard House," the set for the film of the same name. "Orchard House," a modern adaptation of "Little Women," has wrapped its Grafton scenes.

GRAFTON, Mass. - "Orchard House," a movie shot in Grafton over the summer, has found a home - and a new name - on the Lifetime cable network for Christmas. Renamed "The March Sisters at Christmas," the Moody Independent production will air in November as part of the network's "It's a Wonderful Lifetime" holiday blitz in November, according to a press release from Lifetime. "'The March Sisters at Christmas' stars Julie Marie Berman as eldest sister, Jo March, on a contemporary take of the timeless novel, 'Little Women,'" the description says. "We follow the sisters (Kaitlin Doubleday, Melissa Farman and Molly Kunz) as they fight to save their family home, Orchard House, and search for love during Christmas time. John Shea co-stars."

On Saturday, November 24, Lifetime will premiere its new holiday film “The March Sisters at Christmas,” a modern retelling of Louisa Mae Alcott’s “Little Women,” which stars Julie Marie Berman (“General Hospital”) as Jo March, one of four sisters who learn that their mother is planning on selling their family home, Orchard House, due to the family not being able to keep up with the extensive repairs the house needs.
“The March Sisters at Christmas” airs Saturday, November 24 at 8:00 PM ET/PT on Lifetime. Encore airings are scheduled for Sunday, November 25 at 12:00 AM ET/PT and 5:00 PM ET/PT. The film also stars Mark Famiglietti (“Hangtime,” “Eyes”), John Shea (“Gossip Girl,” “Mutant X,” “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman“) and Charlie Hofheimer (“Mad Men“).
