MUTANT X UPDATE
ADV Films has announced a June 22 street date for Mutant X: Season 2, Discs 3-4, a two-disc DVD release from the second season of the syndicated television series.
Mutant X: Season 2, Discs 3-4 is a DVD-only release, including four complete episodes in English 2.0 audio, closed caption, and presented in anamorphic widescreen format. Extras include: interview with Victoria Pratt (Shalimar Fox); original TV promos; image gallery; bloopers and gags; behind the scenes: wire works and special effects; and ADV previews.
Following are the episodes featured:
"No Man Left Behind" -- When a military plane is shot down behind enemy lines, Mutant X races to recover a secret government weapon hidden onboard -- before innocent lives are lost.
"Crossraods of the Soul" -- When Brennan gets trapped inside an invisible town, the Mutant X team must rush to find him before he's executed for a crime he didn't commit.
"Sign From Above" -- The Mutant X team must save Shalimar from extraterrestrials who threaten the future of humanity.
"Body & Soul" -- The Mutant X team sets out to stop the vengeful soul of a teenage boy from killing innocent people.

ADV Films has announced an Aug. 17 street date for Mutant X: Season 2, Discs 5-6, a two-disc DVD release from the second season of the syndicated television series.
The episodes include:
* "Understudy" -- Shalimar grows suspicious of her old friend Nikki, who suddenly and mysteriously reenters her life.
* "The Grift -- Brennan's blackmailing ex-girlfriend enlists his help when one of her schemes turns deadly.
* "At Destiny's End" -- The Mutant X team faces their most dangerous mission yet when they set out to stop a group of eco-terrorists.
* "Within These Walls -- The lives of the Mutant X team are threatened when they set out to capture a murderous escaped convict.
* Mutant X: Season 2, Discs 5-6 ($19.98 SRP) is a DVD-only release in English 2.0 audio, closed captioned. It includes four complete episodes and is presented in anamorphic widescreen format. NEW MUTANT X DVD
ADV Films has announced an Oct. 12 release date for Mutant X: Season 2, Discs 7-8, a two-disc DVD release from the second season.
Episodes featured include
"Hard Time" The Mutant X team takes a huge risk by going undercover inside a maximum security prison to investigate the mysterious deaths of several inmates.
"Under the Cloak of War" After narrowly escaping an attempt on his life, Adam sends Shalimar on a dangerous undercover mission to infiltrate an elite assassination ring.
"Once Around" The Mutant X team must protect a key prosecution witness after he is nearly assassinated before the trial.
"Final Judgment" A secret agency forces Adam to stand trial based on trumped-up charges that he is trying to take over the world with his super-powered mutants.
Extras include: interview with Lauren Lee Smith (Emma DeLauro); behind the scenes features with supervising producer Karen Wookey and Peter Mohan; a look at production design; original TV promos; image gallery; and ADV previews.

NEW MUTANT X DVD
ADV Films has announced a Dec. 7 street date for Mutant X: Season 2, Discs 9-10, a two-disc DVD release of the final five episodes from the second season of the syndicated television series.
Episodes include:
"Inferno" -- The Mutant X team sets out to stop a vengeful mutant arsonist who's been setting deadly fires. When a heroic fireman dies in a blaze, his spirit enters Emma.
"One Step Closer" -- The Mutant X team must save a prominent Senator¹s daughter, who is kidnapped. Their efforts are hampered when Brennan¹s powers begin to mutate out of control.
"Reality Check" -- The Mutant X team faces off against a powerful, Cold War-era mutant who can alter a person's reality - shattering their mind in the process.
"Reawakening" -- Aboard an ocean research vessel, the Mutant X team discovers that the Protocanth -- a prehistoric creature believed to be extinct -- is stalking the crew.
"Lest He Become" -- Shalimar reluctantly reconnects with her estranged father when the Mutant X team learns his company is involved in genetic testing and manipulation.

* ADV Films has announced a May 10 release for the Mutant X Season Two Box Set.
The DVD-only release will include the entire second season of the syndicated TV series presented in English 5.1. With a running time of 1,100 minutes, it will cost $49.98.

MUTANT X UPDATE
ADV Films has provided The Continuum with a first look at the box art to the Mutant X Season Two Box Set.
The DVD-only release will be in stores on May 14.
In other Mutant X news, upcoming episodes in syndication include "Reawakening" the week of May 2, "Lest He Become" the week of May 9, "Into the Moonless Night" the week of May 16 and "The Breed" the week of May 23.
"Into the Moonless Night" begins the third-season repeats of the series.
