A new morning...

The walk down to the dojo is quiet...well for a city, but it makes for a nice walk in the early morning since it's starting to work it's way into autumn. Master Takashi has gotten into the habit of opening the doors for Snake Eyes at six in the morning. He's just glad that there's someone in this city who shows true dedication to the martial arts ( Read more... )

Silence proceeded Snake for a while. However, it was more an eerie, lifeless sort of silence than anything; the kind of silence the living dread and the predators feast upon. However, not too soon after the soldier returned to his sanctuary, did a soft noise shatter the deafening silence. It was a cold, dronning clapping that sounded through the complex. Following it, a sly, almost demanding chuckle permeated the air as none other than the devil himself stood from a stray chair in a more darker area of the dojo. Dressed o a sharp black suit, turtleneck and recently polished boots, der Teufel smiled and pushed his sunglasses up to his eyes with his right index finger.

"Quite a jolly mess you and your friend Leon made-" his voice was thick with a rich German accent. It bubbled and bounced off of every word he spoke. "-but all for the better. I can finally take care off what pests are left to pick off." He licked his lower lip in thought and paced slightly.

"Your attack on my base was most impressive." Wesker purred and angled his face ( ... )

Snake stopped right at the beginning of main room, the reason for him feeling off now known.

An ambush. I got way too comfortable here. Should have expected this.

Knowing what Weskers is capable of, he drops the duffel bag during his little speel and reaches into the leather jacket, unsheathing a combat knife. He knows that he should be trying to get the gear from his bag, but he can't let his guard down right now to reach into it.

The light from a window shines in and glimmers off the cold steel of the blade, but Snake Eyes doesn't move. His stance is firm as he tries to figure out what Wesker has hidden in the darkness.

The petite woman behind him, who had been silent the entire time, gives a sharp nod. Dessed in a slick black suit with reflective wraparound sunglasses and a blue scarf, she definitely plays the part of intimidating businesswoman.

But there's something more to the intimidation factor than just her outfit. Her abnormally long fingernails which look like claws, and how they twitch impatiently. That knowing half-smirk that plays on her darkly painted lips, and the way she removes that scarf in one fluid motion when Wesker gives the order.

"Sir." She says, balling her fists in the sheer material.

There is no hesitation, and no waiting to size up her enemy or see what he's up to. She just attacks, pulling a survival knife from the sheath concealed under her blazer, and lunges.

The woman darts from the shadows behind Wesker and heads straight across the Dojo at an incredible speed.

Snake reacts just fast enough to reach down and grab the duffel bag, tossing it straight at her, following behind it to hopefully use the bag as a distraction.

With any luck, he'll be able to see how she reacts, testing her and seeing if she has the abilities to tackle a master ninja.
