Everything Tsukizubon Saruko writes is a gutpunch. It's original fiction, but before you run off screaming at that, it is not the lame "original slash" stuff you see around. Velma is my (only) favorite character in Scooby Doo, so this is pure love! Thanks for the heads up with the author. Man, I haven't SSBB in a while, but I'm sure pretty much every issue is made of awesome.

I had a dream about you last night. In the dream you made incredible art. Like these things that looked like make-up compacts that were blue and had pages inside. You made a little compact thing for each of your groups of friends and you had their names written on the outside on the lip in gold writing. I told Austen about it !

I love this Velma (and you included Scooby!). I see girls with this retro look all the time nowadays (there'd be a tattoo under that sweater, though).

Half of whatever appeal Scooby Doo has is its retroness, so I love that you kept it. That, and her totally baleful expression. XD
