[Jael hasn't slept well for the past few days, but it's not just physical fatigue that's keeping her exhausted. This entire debacle has been horrible, and she had actually forgotten that Matt had asked her to come talk.

So it takes her a day or two to get back to him, but eventually she sends him a text.]

Matt? Can you meet me up on the top deck?

[Matt's been completely exhausted. His body is still healing and well it decided sleeping for 10 hours is a good idea. He was just waking up when he gets the text.]

I'm on my way.

[A few minutes pass and there he is, dragging and bandaged up. But looking relatively better than before.]

[Jael is sitting on the ground not too far away. Her arms are wrapped in bandages, but she smiles tiredly and waves him over to sit beside her.]

[He eases down next to her and is quiet for a moment.]

You feeling better?

[mutedmother]

Yes, I am.

[Jael hesitates for a moment before reaching out to touch his hand.]

You said we needed to talk?
