Matt is the most important person in Jael's life. Even though he isn't in the Keep, she thinks about him every day. She didn't get enough time with him to really say she loves him just yet, but she would be fine with spending the rest of her life with him.

Lily is Jael's unofficial child-thing. Lily reminds Jael so much of herself that it's painful, especially when she realized Lily never had the chance to have a normal childhood like she does. Jael is so painfully fond of Lily that she would do anything to make Lily happy.

Jetfire is a bit of a mystery, but Jael considers him a friend. He helped her at a dark time and Jael will be eternally grateful. It's obvious that even with the advantages he has from being robot, he's highly intelligent and curious. She appreciated his willingness to sit and learn sign language from her more than she can express.

Malkus is a comrade, of sorts, to Jael. He's a doctor and thus has a lot of respect from Jael, but his quirkyness and apparent fear of everything is strangely endearing. If he were younger, Jael would probably consider him one of her child-things. As it is, she's surprisingly fond of him...even though she did attack him when zombified.

While this may not be the same Joe Jael knew on the Elegante, she still considers him an older brother-figure. She tries to keep the two separate, but sometimes fears she comes across as overly friendly. He was one of her closest friends and she hopes to build that friendship up over again.

The same for Joe, this Asuka is not the same as the one from the Elegante, but she still considers him a close friend and hopes to rebuild their friendship here.

Jin may not be in the Keep, but he will always be one of her closest friends. He was the only one who truly understood the frustration of having to take twice as long to have a conversation and not being able to communicate effectively with everyone else. He was sort of like the older brother Jael never had and she misses him dearly.
