So.   I was in the shower and the Gilligan's Island theme got stuck in my head and I got to thinking...

They've made movies of almost every old T.V. show, how long before they do this one? I decided I would get the jump on them and cast my  own movie...so here goes!

Matthew Lillard as Gilligan

Gene Hackman as Skipper

Estelle Getty as "Lovey"

I want to see David Schwimmer as Gilligan, personally...in part because I hate Matthew Lillard.

And why not use the miracle of CGI to digitally replicate Jim Backus? The movie has to have either unnecessary CGI or an explosion (since people can't seem to make movies these days without one or the other) and a digital Jim Backus would fill the need.

Either that or cast Leslie Nielsen.

Hmm.. i dunno about this Alba/Biel combo, aren't they pretty much interchangable? I'd vote Nicole Kidman for the movie star.
And how about Leslie Nielsen for Thurston? Or, we could resurrect Lloyd Bridges.
