 I really wish I could be one of those people who could be relaxed and confident for job interviews.  I just can't have confidence.  My health has made it so I'm struggling to remember words and things, so I definitely stand a chance of looking really stupid at some point, which is just going to confirm to them that I'm not qualified among all ( Read more... )

i know how you feel. i always get super nervous at interviews and end up doubting myself and fail at thinking on the fly. i like things rehearsed. i don't like surprises.

but, still, i don't let that stop me, and have oftern interviewd for positions i know i'm not qualified for, cuz sometimes there's a chance, and you won't know unless you try. and while a "no" hurts, it's the worst that can happen. you'll still have a job you hate, but you know that you tried, and it does look good internally at the job, when you show that you're looking to expand outside your currennt position.

I'll keep trying even if this doesn't pan out, I'm really hating my current job more and more to where some days I feel stressed out to the point of almost crying or even suicidal before I leave the house and there's no way I can keep working there ( ... )
