Health Update
I recently had a much needed gynecologist appointment. I may have finally found a competent doc! She had some good ideas on what might be causing some of my problems. Like, that some of my slightly off, but technically normal, or not normal but seemingly inexplicable blood work might be that my body is working sooo hard to replenish lost iron ( Read more... ) -

I'm about at the end of my goddamn rope. Finally heard back from the endocrinologist today. Here's the discussion in a nutshell -
Doc: So the CT scan shows no tumor.
Me: Okay.
Doc: And I need to double check, but your cortisol seems normal too.
Me: Okay. That's good.
Me: Should we have rechecked my aldosterone?

FINALLY IT IS MY MOMENT
I GOT THE JOB!!
Still ironing out the details, but this is the most epic moment of my life. Even if I end up disliking the job later, I finally have something skilled and high-paying to put on my resume. Finally have a 8-5 job with a salary where I can interact with at least some intelligent people.

I really wish I could be one of those people who could be relaxed and confident for job interviews. I just can't have confidence. My health has made it so I'm struggling to remember words and things, so I definitely stand a chance of looking really stupid at some point, which is just going to confirm to them that I'm not qualified among all ( Read more... ) -

I am so fucking done with customer service. I've just about had my hope in humanity totally killed out of me, let me tell you. And today must of been drunken asshole day. Three Beer Reviews
1. Primo Island Lager
Hawaiian beer, made with 95% malt and 5% sugar cane, brewed from 1897. 6.2% alcohol. Made a big comeback in 2007. It's an airy beer, refreshing and very very easy to drink. Aftertaste is a bit lacking, but tolerable. A lot better than the other Hawaiian beers I have tried, like Longboard. Wish it was a bit cheaper. ( Read more... ) -
Beer Review - Vleteren Alt Blonde
An artisinal Belgian beer that referments in the bottle. A stiff 8% alcohol, and you can definitely taste it, alas. Firm, substantial foam head. It's light and fruity, but with a unpleasant, bitter malty aftertaste that lingers and lingers. A bit too hoppy for my taste as well. Thoughts on Vampire Diaries (Book and TV)
I'm not sure, but I believe the next Vampire Diaries book, Midnight, may be the last, and the author has implied that Elena will finally make a choice between Stefan and Damon.
