People around here have no idea how to drive in ice or snow. no idea! they closed memorial parkway because of ice....ice that will probably be melted by 1pm. !*&#?!@*@^!?@! Now it will take me half an hour or more to get to work. Have any of you ever had to drive nothing but the access roads down the parkway during icey weather? It's worse than ( Read more... )

yeah. school kids were OK cuz' the "freezing rain" didn't move in til' late mornining/early afternoon. of course what little ice hit the roads was gone by 1/2pm. you know how our weatherpersons are around here. LOOK a picture of sleet! PANIC! People who had to be at work in the morning probably had no idea it was going on. Its people like me who didnt go to work til' early afternoon that got screwed.

On a much more fun note. Watcha doin' tonight!? If ya don't have plans "The Vagina Monologues" are being performed at The FLying Monkey tonight (7pm). I'm ushering, so if you can be there, you betta, i'll even pay for yours and mmmmm-scotts admission. Plus, i wanna see the new ride! :)
