Jack was solid and warm. Prior to coming to the village, Charles would never have known what there was to that to be so enjoyed. He was chest to chest with the other man, ending up straddling him even as he smiled down at him.

They had kept up with what all three had agreed to and that was having dinner together a few nights in a week. Erik found himself anticipating those nights where he was able to spend time with both Anna and Charles. In turn, those two were becoming, what he would like to think, good friends.

It almost felt as if Charles had been drinking and yet he hadn't, not more than two whiskeys. But he felt relaxed and with that relaxation came another kind of drive, one that, for the most part, he didn't think much about.
