texas chainsaw massacre from 74 is such a creepy film. My favorite horror of all time I think....the new ones sucked and the only redeeming sequel was the 2nd one.

First one was awesome. And yeah the sequels sucked. Although was the second one the one with Dennis Hopper? And at the end he had like two little mini-chainsaws in holsters? That was pretty dope. And then there was the one with Renee Zellweger and Matthew McConaughey before they were famous. Wow, TCM has been a pretty cool series. I haven't seen any of the new ones.

Yeah the second one had Dennis Hopper. It was really the only good sequel that came from the series unfortunately. Leatherface is like my all time favorite horror character.

The 3rd one had a Leatherface "junior" which was really really weird and I didnt like it at all. The fourth one was the one with Renee Zellweger and Matthe McConaughey from 94.

Honestly, the remake of the original in 2003 and TCM: The Beginning were both really really mainstream, straight forward horror movies. There was really nothing spooky or creepy about it to make you cringe like the original from 74. The Beginning was pretty much conceived as the worst of all of them and was supposed to be a prequel and explain Leatherface and his family's background

Man I'm watching the original again and just watched the dinner scene. Jesus christ that scene was so creepily moving (if that makes sense).
