So the power goes out here quite often. Its usually one or two times a week for a couple hours. And of course its never a time when you don't need eletricty. Its always in the middle of the day or sometime between 6 and 11 when its two early to go to sleep and I end up actually resorting to candle light and lanterns. So I have returned from Bali and I'm back in Pekanbaru for one more month. I ate so much good food. I ate all the bread too everytime it was offered with sweet sweet butter (they just have crappy Margerine here - lots of times they put it on doughnuts so they can stick sprinkles on and I think its disgusting). So from the news many of you prob know there was a large earthquake in Indonesia on Saturday. The earthquake was quite far from me near the city of Jogjakarta (known as Jogja) on Java. There was a huge cockroach in my room the other day. We battled (which involved the use of my raid) and in the heat of battle I yelled "die mutent scum". Everyone in my house heard me. (I live with an Indonesian family - about 7 people in all - and they already think I'm strange and reculsive).
