I had knee pains (right knee) m last month. Got it while climbing rapidly on some very steep stairs. Went on for *only* two weeks thank goodness. But during those two weeks, boy was I worried that the health problems will begin as early as now.

Yeah, my knee has been hurting on and off for a couple of months, but I ignored it until it started to hurt everyday...After that chiropractor visit, I decided that doctor visits are NEVER fun. (It hurt the next 2 visits...I even ended up with some bruises) Btw, if your injury is similar to mine, it may come back to haunt you later on.
