A couple musical curiosities this weekend:

Canned Heat is playing at a small bar in Flint tomorrow night.  looks like the drummer is the only member to have been with them since the 60's though.

Then OK Go is playing a free show in the Pioneer highschool parking lot.  The only thing I know about that band is the video of them dancing on the

'cording to the web site: the harmonica player died in 1970 and the big guy singer made it all the way to 1981. they seem to be co founders

that OK Go video is all that and a bag of chips if ya ask me. There is one part where the guy in red pants looks as though he may fall. I wish fleetwood mac would play in a parking lot. well back to listening to what I always listen to (fleetwood mac).......today it's the Mirage album...though I've been listening to the Beatles second album too lately.

i remember a few years back that Cheap Trick played at noon on a sunday in front of a car dealership out next to a bowling alley (on Huron?) in Ann Arbor. I had to work, but in retrospect, i should have just skipped.

that must have been Belmark lanes out on Jackson? yea, that would have been awesome, but noon is way too early for rock.
I missed this thing too because of a long nap.
