I got a pair of Armani wire rim glasses today at Salvation Army for 99 cents. even better the script is sort of semi close to my own, so i can wear them as a backup. it is a little spooky to be wearing a (probably) dead man's glasses with his lenses. like seeing with his eyes. . .

my personal take on the glasses: yes, it could be a dead man's, or some guy who just had lasik surgery and had a liberating, "i won't be needing these anymore!!" kind of moment. or some really really really rich guy who has nothing better to do but buy tons of specs and then gives his armani glasses away to the less fortunate.

uggs: they're back but also more eskimo-ish than ever and have platform. uggs are in fact, uggz (ugly).

it is good to look on the bright side like that, yes. There are some bits of white paint on the glasses, so maybe he was repainting his mansion and tossed the glasses instead of cleaning them. but then again maybe he was run over by a white car.
I know the new arctic uggs you are talking about. they are bad too, but since they are so way out i almost can handle them. it is the plain Ugg that bothers me the most because they look like some kind of leather sock puppet
