Not weird at all (well, it might be weird for someone who isn't a Friend to be writing in response to a daily reading from Quaker Faith and Practice, but to be honest, as my life goes, that isn't particularly weird). Such weirdness* aside, I hope that friending me got you to the sticky post at the top, which explains some stuff.

*Weird has its own, weird, etymology. One of my favourite words in English.
