Anybody have dieting tips?

Well, usually diet-wise, I do just fine. My food choices are healthy and my portion size is normal. But my problem lately is snacking. It can be healthy stuff, too, but I have this bug to do it all day long! Anybody have any avoidance or distraction techniques to deal with this?

Well, they say that if you brush your teeth, you will be less tempted to snack. I have tried it before, and it works most of the time.

I know that works, but I don't know who to bring the toothbrush with me everywhere. Maybe I should invest in some gum; buy bulk packs at a superstore or something. My friend chews ice, but I have a feeling that would only encourage me to snack more, since you're actually "eating" in a way!

Eh, I have never heard of the ice thing before, but I agree that I will probably still feel hungry after that. What about a small bottle of mouthwash? Especially Listerine. They have those travel packs that are small and nifty. Not to mention, mouthwash are not only minty, but the good ones have this strange effect of screwing around with your taste buds and make everything you eat after that taste weird.
