No, seriously. This was a beautiful post. It brought up a lot of really strong feelings in me, especially considering what I posted only a few minutes before reading it.

My unsolicited advice: don't get your heart too set on there being just one person. Finding the first one is probably the hardest, but that doesn't mean you have to keep that one forever in order to be happy. Besides, Queen said "Just one year of love is better than a lifetime alone," and I agree. Go for experience and aliveness over perfection (yeah, like I can talk - but my intentions are good, really!). You probably don't need this advice, but oh well. There it is.
And BTW... have I asked you yet how you feel about polyamory?
