Thanks! Staring at my new favorite picture of Hutch made me think of him rising like a phoenix defeating the bad guys and rescuing someone. And who would he rescue?

Wow, very evocative--you should try reading the AU zine novel Decorated for Death. Starsky and Hutch in a very post apocolytic world. This poem immediately put that story in mind for me: in fact, put some braids on Hutch in that picture and he'd work in the story.
