one of the best feelings in the world:

conducting the last cord (which also happens to be the climax) of the big band piece you wrote
when your lead trumpet player was the lead player of the Buddy Rich band, who also played with Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Joe Williams, Tony Bennett, and the Supremes

pops night was great
everything went very quickly, but overall it was a really really fun night
im very happy with how the jazz band pulled off playing my peice.
im going to miss it

i was unhappy with nick winning 3 awards for groups that he was not in

So, it all started Saturday morning when my alarm clock went off at 5:33am.  I think i went to bed around 1am the night before, so needless to say, I was very tired.  I rolled out of bed, showered and got dressed.  I checked the website one last time to make sure there was no changes that I did not know about.

This goes out to every person out there who wanted to go to the radiohead concert, but couldn't get tickets. Especially those who woke up before 6 am on a saturday morning to get tickets and were there before 630am at the box office.
