A week and a half ago at MFF, I watched the DJs spinning tunes for the dances, and for the hundredth time, asked myself if I could do that. Probably not. DJing isn't hard, once you build up a collection of tunes and mixes. Techno? Can't imagine that being hard. Back when we needed tape loops it was pretty tricky. But these days you can just pre-program sequences into a synth and modulate the chords. I'm firmly of the opinion that any musically intelligent person would quickly get bored and add too much melody for it to be considered techno ( ... )

#11 was a cut-and-paste error on my part and has been replaced with the lyric I had intended to put there.

The rest are correct. I could nitpick a couple of them but none are off by enough not to give you credit for them.

I suppose another reason I don't do live DJing is that I don't have any of my own audio equipment beyond my computer speakers, and the computer is a minitower unit that weighs a ton and is a pain to take anywhere. I plan to get nicer soundcard and speakers for my own listening at some point, probably not until I get moved into a house.

All correct.

As noted previously, #11 was a cut-and-paste error which has been replaced by another lyric as of about 8:30 this morning.

Oh, I'm not upset or anything. It was my own goof after all, and I have enough of a sense of humor to get a smile out of your reply.

And I am currently unable to access LJ from work too. Livejournal has been on and off their blocked site list over the last few years and is currently on it so I have to wait until I get home to see what's been updated and post any replies.
