worst snow plowing ever

never in my 22 years of age and nearly nine months also of age have i encountered such ridiculous snow plowing. Several busy (and i mean heavily trafficked to the point of normal hour or two long delays) roads were either not plowed, or only partially plowed. It seems as though I like the Bulls too, because I actually know some players' names. Still working on the Bears players....

A month ago, I read Devil in the White City, which is a non-fiction about the Chicago World's Fair of 1893 - it was a fun read, weird though thinking "this is a compelling story and wow these people actually lived."

On the more fiction side, I just finished World War Z: an oral history of the zombie war - overall, it is about humans triupmhing over adversity, but there's a lot of chapters just about zombies eating people, and people being stupid. I enjoied the book, but it largely made me nervous because I am not prepared for a zombie invasion.
