On Saturday, Jordan and I took the ferry to Angel Island. Angel Island is a pretty sizable island in the San Francisco Bay. It, in some ways, was the West Coast equivalent to Ellis Island. Sad that you forgot your camera! We always meant to get to Angel Island when we lived there but never managed to make it happen. :(

You should definitely check it out if you ever come back to town! It's much larger than I imagined. It's just like a giant (mostly) undeveloped park. We even saw deer! It has a really awesome beach on one side that's... well, pretty much the best beach in the bay area (as in sand quality.)
