I love the characterization of Sirius as brash to cover up his pain. I also loved that you made Peter not just someone everybody hated. I really hated Snape in this, which attests to your amazing writing. And I adored Lily as she's faced with a real Sophie's Choice. Sirius staring at the ring made me want to cry. Really great work!

This is a wonderful piece. I love the Marauder's Ten Commandments and the way you have Sirius break them all throughout the story, hating himself in the process. And I love how the closing of every scene really highlights Sirius's aloneness. His self-destructiveness, self-sacrifice, and self-doubt are all evident. This is really heartbreaking and beautiful.
