I've just subjected a few excerpts of Haunted to the I Write Like... on-line automated analysis.

My first excerpt was one I've always been rather pleased with from Chapter 5 of Haunted.  The result was Dan Brown, which made me want to give up writing altogether, if not actually slit my wrists,  if some of the best lyrical writing I  could produce

Thanks for the info! I was wondering just how many authors they had in their database.

There's a program that can analyze that sort of thing more accurately, but it's expensive and used for things like figuring out who wrote what book, is this threatening letter from the same guy as the last threatening letter (or is it a copycat) and other questions that motivate people to cough up the dough.
