That reminds me about my getting Mono for the first time.

As I was recovering, my mother, sister and I were talking about it and my mother laid a good one on me and my sister. She said that once a person has had Mono, it means that in the future, the results for an STD test might come back a False Positive.

I forget which STD the test would be for, but if a person has had Mono and is otherwise 'clean', the results would come back Faux Positive.
