im not one for very much christian music, but lately i have been feeling blah. then i came upon this song...

You don't know how many times I have had those same thoughts. I grew up in Duluth. The Jesus People from Chicago came through in the 60's and hundreds of hippies got saved. That's a bid deal in a city of less than 100,000. I and a lot of my Duluth friends are children of those hippies that got saved. A few of them are still following Jesus. Many of them are just working their jobs and divorced and disconnected from their children and generally just running the hamster wheel. If you talk to them they have storied about the good ole days and plenty of "good advice" on how to be a Christian

I feel like this need to renew 'first love' never goes away. At least it hasn't for me.

Also, Petra did a similar song called "First Love", but I think I'll let you stick to the Avalon version.
