friend material is like you can hang out with them and say bull shit stuff without worrying about whether they think you are attractive nor do you have any sexual intrest in them. they basically register as asexual on the radar scale to you.

by "non friend material" do you mean dating material? or like mortal enemy material?...I'm assuming dating material, if so that is like friend material, but you do worry about your looks and you do have a sexual attraction to the person. You can picture doing things with the dating material that you couldn't imagine doing with your friend material.

granted these aren't the only two categories of the member of the opposite sex, but those are the difference between the two, In my opinion.

it is a bitch. but sometimes you get lucky and your are friends with their friends and that way they can possibly hook you up...Which is what I'm hoping for...

I think you're in the same situation I am/was in when it comes to relationships. I think you should give these "just friends" type of guys a chance because feelings change and you could actually grow to really like them. I'm guessing you could just give it a try and see where it goes.

did I mention that he's not my type? he's shorter than me and, while not a complete turn-off for me, it's still a turn-off, not to mention he doesn't support any of my lifestyle choices (i.e. the drinking of alcoholic beverages, and me just acting stupid...and that's about it)...if that makes us a perfect match, then a lot of people I know are my perfect match...*shakes head*
