I read a book today called Blankets by Craig Thompson. It is an illustrated novel that carries on for 582 pages. I found it quite simple, yet achingly beautiful. It is told in narrative form, a highly charged personal encounter crammed with pain, discovery, hijinx, penance, religious conviction and its loss, and along comes self loathing ( Read more... )
