Finally got my car fixed. It was unbelievably expensive and I feel horrible about it. But maybe this car will make it to the big 200,000- like My Father's Oldsmobile did. At the rate things are going, that would probably take care of me for the span of my natural life.

my car needs a lot of help... Someone knocked off my driver's side mirror. It's holding on thanks to the miracle of duct tape.

But really, I just need a new headlight.

Hmmm- well, a headlight's cheap and pretty easy if you have the tools. But a broken sideview mirror sucks- I managed to shatter my passenger side mirror when I was living in Dirtville last year. Apparently I broke some integral piece, so it would have been much more expensive to fix than just slapping a new mirror on. Perhaps you can take some solace in the fact that you weren't stupid enough to fuck up your *own* mirror?

It certainly does complicate parallel parking.

I've been, erm, okay. Just okay. Overmedicated, and not in a good way. I keep meaning to write about it.
