So, apparently I'm pretty much over my version of the plague. I went from drooling couch-monster on Monday and Tuesday to work on Wednesday. Thursday I managed to buy some books and have dinner before coming home and taking a nap. First of all, I think that "drooling couch-monster" is one of the best phrases I've read on LiveJournal in a while. :)

I'm glad that you enjoyed the museum. I did as well. By the time that we left the museum, my feet had started hurting, but that was my only real complaint.

I think that "museuming" is a perfectly reasonable word. (Just ask Calvin and Hobbes.)

Yes, the restaurant was called Zaytinya. Mara is still quite fond of it. I'm sure that Mara and I will be going there on our next trip to Washington. So, you're certainly welcome to join us then. :)
