Pure : Greek
Your natural charisma and charm makes you an influential figure able to inspire confidence in others. Material abundance and emotional contentment are seemingly drawn to you and satisfy your dreams of success. However being humanitarian you find that applying your talents and creative prowess to a worthwhile purpose is far more satisfying than material gain. Your courage, adaptability and determination overcome any obstacles.
The one I would like to discard:
Protector of mankind : Greek
You are charming, talented and have a very positive attitude to life so it is hardly surprising that you attract success and recognition. Focussed and patient you understand that material rewards are a result of discipline. Being so creative and with a need for self-expression you may be drawn towards the arts, travel is also likely to be important. A loyal friend, you are a person who must be allowed freedom and independence.
In other news, I watched the movie
Crash recently. This is the more recent one about racism, not the one about people who like to have sex during car accidents. The cast is splendid, and the characters three-dimensional and well-performed. I didn't like the movie. I disliked it not because it dealt with unpleasant topics, but because it dealt almost entirely with unpleasant people. Unredeemably unpleasant people. What was the point of this movie? Was it to prove people can be assholes? Who didn't know this? I work customer service, so of course I know people can be assholes. What bothered me is that with one or two possible implied exceptions, all of the people in this movie are assholes from start to finish, with no progression or character development. I suppose I expected a sappy ending in which everyone realized that we are all the same regardless of color, language, or ethnic origin, and we should all learn to just get along. There was barely even any attempt to show any characters learned the other warm bodies that wandered about and made noise were also human. Perhaps my problem is that I am in the choir to which this movie preaches, but I just don't see the point to it. I don't really want the sappy ending, but I do want their to be a reason for showing all of this ugliness.
Has anyone else seen this? What did you think?
