Ugh. That really creeps me out. Which is silly, I know: I love eating mushrooms and truffles and fungus of all sorts. I read about it on Wikipedia, and there is nothing weird or scary about eating it. But the pictures still freak me out, and I don't know if I could eat it... bleurgh.
