We're all nuts...the fucking media has really brought us women back down. Sure we have the right to vote, but how free are we really? We are not equal to men, we are slaves to "beauty" and fashion. Our worth is measured by our looks

LOL!! I agree in spirit babe. of course might I add that once I am 103 pounds I will indulge in 3 donuts too!

women have fought for so many right, and they continue to do so all over the world, but here we are....is it really fashion that caused us to be here...I believe that ed are actually caused by a sense of lack of control...I have never had the false belief that thinness is what caused my ed, other things did (like lack of control over my past and future)...

No I completely agree that it is a control issue. Alot of it is poor self image for me too...but the ed makes me feel like I am trying to make myself feel better by looking better.

The control thing comes very apparent to me when I think about things in my past...that is what brings on the days of fasting on only orange juice and crackers. When I get episodes like that, looks don't even matter, all that matters is that I can feel that starving pain that it makes me feel better.

Maybe I'm a psycho. I really do want to get better...but I also just bought a whole bunch of new clothes that won't fit me if I put on weight. Maybe that's just an excuse to keep dieting.
